It is essential you have an in-store photography policy for your business.
Our advice is a NO PHOTOS policy. This ensures everyone working in the business knows the policy and is therefore empowered to approach anyone taking photos.
Having a NO PHOTOS policy allows you to give permission when yu are happy for photos to be taken.
The NO PHOTOS policy should relate to supplier representatives too. At the very least they should have your permission first.
For customers, you establish the policy with a sign placed at the entrance at the business.
Here is one sign you could use. Place this at the entrance to the business.
Our advice is to keep it simple.
