This question, which card company is best for my business, is not best answered with a black and white answer.
Depending on the size of your card account you may benefit from two card companies.
If your spend on greeting card stock is under $30,000 a year, one card company is best as that will give them capacity for service. Splitting a $30,000 account to two companies with $15,000 in business each will not leave them enough margin for service.
Now, how do you choose the card company that's best for you?
Consider cards made locally - for many shoppers that will be a factor.
Consider the ranges pitched, the mix of traditional, humour and lifesytyle.
Consider the nature of any contract. Is there a lock in period? Is there a minimum level of spend required?
Consider how the card company engages with you and other retailers.
newsXpress works with a range of card companies. Your decision is yours to make. If you asked us today for a recommendation, we'd likely say, based on our own retail experience: Henderson / Waterlyn followed by Simson. These businesses provide a good mix for your fixed card space.
Then, for on the shop floor, we love the Vevoke and Affirmations products for the success they bring.
There are others to consider too.
This is general initial advice only if you need advice at the moment.
