If you fill your shop with what you like your business will not reach its potential. This is common sense.
Range products to demographic targets and to broad tastes, caring less about what you and those who work in the business like.
It is vital for your customers to tell you what will work in your shop and what will not. This is more likely to happen if you buy outside what you like.
If you say no to something without trying it you deny yourself the opportunity of discovering it does work.
If you try something and it does not work you learn ... and we may be able to help move the stock elsewhere.
If you try something and it works you make money and hopefully see an opportunity for growth through this.
Are you happy with your revenue today? If the answer to this is no, one way to increase revenue is to find new shoppers. New products can help you find new customers.
You are not your customer.
We encourage you to take this on as a mantra, to encourage you to play outside what you like and what has been usual for the business, and, through this, to find new shoppers.
