NEWSXPRESS COLLECTOR CARD ADVICE.

This advice applies to all manually managed collector cards printed by newsXpress and used in newsXpress stores: Beanie Boos, Pop! Vinyls and the little used Magazine Club Card..

It lays out the non-negotiable rules for the use of these specific cards.

If you wish to have your own rules, please create your own card that is different in look and name to our newsXpress corporate card.

This is important as the terms and conditions noted here are published on the newsXpress website, for shoppers to access.

Please print the terms and conditions sheet and have this displayed at the counter or near the entrance.

Please ensure all team members have read and understand the terms and conditions.

How to promote the cards:

1. Place them with stock on the shop floor.
   1. For Boos, place them in a holder clipped to the stand.
   2. For Pops, use both sides of the cards as a shelf strip.
   3. For magazines, place with magazines.
2. Write about them, in separate posts, on Facebook every couple of weeks.
3. When a customer redeems, ask if you can get their photo for your business Facebook page. Post it!
4. Write a Facebook post every so often, depending on your circumstances, noting how many Boos or Pops you have given away in the last month.
5. Ensure every shopper is offered a card. Do NOT ask if they have one. Always offer it!
6. Offer cards on the shop floor as shoppers browse.
7. Every month or so, on a day of your choosing, offer a bonus stamp with each transaction.
8. Order replacement cards from head office.
9. Be grateful every time you give away the free product.

A note on discount vouchers. Whether you offer discount vouchers in addition to the collector card is up to you. Our advice is you do, as they work differently to the cards – some may use one while others may use the other. Occasionally both but not often.

COLLECTOR CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

newsXpress, through its local stores, offers collector cards. They are offered based on the following terms and conditions.

1. A card is not valid unless it has the business name stamped on it.
2. The only mark indicating purchase toward redemption acceptable on a card is the authorised newsXpress stamp.
3. The authorised stamp is subject to change at the discretion of newsXpress. Old stamps will be recognized up to 3 months after they cease to be used.
4. Any expiry date on the card is the expiry date.
5. The images on the card are for illustrative purposes only.
6. We do not replace lost or stolen cards.
7. Cards can only be used at the issuing store, this includes collecting stamps and redemption of a completed card towards the free product.
8. We allow people to combine cards.

1. We reserve the right not to accept cards we believe are used in an unauthorized, fraudulent or unlawful way.
2. newsXpress reserves the right to change the Collector Card Terms and Conditions anytime without notice, Terms and Conditions will be updated on our website.
3. Cards are not redeemable for cash and no substitution.

BEANIE BOOS.

1. A single stamp is given for each regular size Ty Beanie Boo, Ty Peek-A-Boo, Ty Beanie or Ty Beanie Baby purchased.
2. 2 stamps are given for each medium or large Ty Beanie Boo or Ty Peek-A-Boo.
3. Three stamps are given for any extra-large Ty Beanie Boo.
4. No stamp is given for any clip, Teeny Ty or Mini Boo.
5. The free Beanie Boo is a regular size Ty Beanie Boo, Ty Beanie, Ty peek-A-Boo or Ty Beanie Baby. Licenced product not included.

POP VINYLS.

1. A single stamp is given for each pop purchased regardless of size.
2. The free pop is a regular single pop vinyl from available floor stock.

MAGAZINE CLUB CARD.

1. A single stamp is given for each magazine regardless of price.
2. The free magazine is any magazine up to the value of $10.00.
3. Each magazine card expires eight weeks after issue.
