These terms and conditions apply to member businesses that connect with and / or transact through any of the newsXpress consumer-facing websites. They set out your obligations in return for access to any of the websites.
Access to the websites, the brand based websites as well as your own local store website, which is connected under newsxpress.com.au, is free in line with these terms and conditions. The service is not a core part of your newsXpress contract. The service is not referred to in the contract.
Given the data access and the funding of development, you need to be a supported Tower Systems software user for the data link to work.
For the brand based websites, newsXpress applies a percentage credit card processing and management fee, which may vary from time to time. For your own local store website, there is no transaction processing fee.
In connecting your business to any newsXpress consumer facing website you agree that:
- Your physical shop is professionally branded outside as newsXpress or @nxp.
- Everyone working in the business wears uniforms approved by newsXpress.
- Everyone working in the business wears a name badge approved by newsXpress.
- The the phone is answered as newsXpress [and your location].
- That the newsXpress logo is on your receipts.
- The prices of goods online is the same as the prices in-store.
- Sufficient staff are trained to pack and ship online orders on all days the business is open including weekends, holidays and when owners and managers are away.
- All staff trained to fulfil orders are to have direct access to know about any order as it is received by the business.
- Orders are to be fulfilled the day they arrive up to 3pm on weekdays and first thing in the morning the next business day for all other days and times.
- All orders are to be shipped with a packing slip along with your business card.
- All orders are to be packed with care and secured tight with professional tape.
- To accept responsibility for dealing direct with any customer issue resulting from out of stock, damaged goods, lost shipment when requested by newsXpress head office.
- To maintain accurate stock on hand data to ensure that what any newsXpress website says you have in stock is actually what you have in stock.
- You will always advise newsXpress, by email to help@newsxpress.com.au, should you be unable to fulfil an order at any time.
Should your business not adhere to or breach any these terms and conditions, newsXpress reserves the right to temporarily disable your business from any or all websites until you take corrective action that satisfies newsXpress.
We reserve the right to remote a business from any of the websites if:
- We have reason to believe store level stock data is inaccurate.
- Shipping mistakes are made.
- Orders are being filled late.
- You complain about the service, questioning its value to your business. By this we mean - why engage with something that is optional, that you complain about?
- These terms and conditions are not followed.
newsXpress reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
