If, by the time of settlement on the sale of your business, the purchaser has not signed an agreement with newsXpress, the following must happen prior to settlement:
- All references to newsXpress are removed from the business. This means all signage, posters, stickers, rubber stamps, dump bins, bags, badges, branding of any sort.
- The branding of your business Facebook is changed.
- All newsXpress documentation including advice sheets, templates and other documents are removed from the business.
- All staff uniforms are removed from the business.
- All newsXpress logins are disabled: website, email etc.
- All newsXpress preferred supplier details including trading terms are not handed over.
This is essential as each of these is newsXpress intellectual property. Passing them on or allowing a purchaser to benefit in any way from any of these disrespects newsXpress and all newsXpress members.
Every day a business trades under our name or connected with our name in some way has a cost associated with it.
